However, for those who are able to afford it, the purchase can turn out to be an excellent idea. Many times when a parent buys their child their first car, it's something the student ends up tolerating instead of embracing. Many kids are teased for things far less than a car and even that has a horribly negative impact on them. The idea is, having one less thing to be bullied or feel insecure about can only work for their good. This isn't to say that this will solve all of their self-esteem or self-confidence issues, but there isn't much reason to believe that it couldn't help them.
Lastly, a Mercedes would be a great investment for parents. As opposed to other vehicle types, they'd be able to get a much better return if they were to sell the car. Of course, they most likely paid a good amount for it, but with some least expensive cars, they'd probably almost have to give it away because of how much value the car would lose. Therefore, a Mercedes for a young person might not be such a bad idea.
