Factory Outlet/Clothing Stores in Cornwall UK

id="mod_9805009">There are an increasing number of factory outlet stores in Cornwall, but as most shops in the region are small, so are the factory outlet stores. This means you could be really close to one and not even realise!

This list of Factory Outlet Stores in Cornwall is written to help you find discounted goods and discount brands in Cornwall.

If you're on holiday in Cornwall, it can be difficult to find ways to pass the time when it's raining, so maybe you can use this list to pick up a few bargains to take home with you!

We've got three small branches of one national chain, the Original Factory Shop Ltd, and we've two locally-grown discount stores known as Trago Mills.  We've recently, also started getting branches of The Range, a large factory outlet store that started in Devon.

I hope you find just what you're looking for - and I bet you'll find this list an eye-opener.  When I started to compile this list I thought it'd be smaller - now I realise I have to expand it further :)

Marks & Spencer Outlet, Hayle, Cornwall
If you're travelling down the A30 towards Hayle, then you really can't miss the M&S Outlet at the roundabout at the boundary of Hayle.

This is probably one of the most prestigious factory outlet stores in Cornwall - we don't have large factory outlet stores at all. There's probably enough in this store to keep you occupied for about 30-60 minutes and is certainly a Cornwall outlet shopping venue that you can fit into a touring holiday or visit.

This is a fairly small factory outlet store, with free on-site parking. Goods you'll find include classic women's clothing, kids' clothes, kids' schoolwear, flowers, wine, food, bakery items, cards and gift wrap, beauty products.

Marks & Spender, West Cornwall Retail Park, Marsh Lane, Hayle, Cornwall, TR27 5LX

Opening Times: Mon-Sat, 9am-7pm, late night shopping until 8pm on a Thursday. Sundays 10.30am-4.30pm.

Outlet shopping in Cornwall: Factory Outlet Stores on the Redruth to Portreath Road. Factory Outlets Between Redruth and Portreath
Lying between Redruth and Portreath is a collection of individual factory outlets, called Bridge Industrial Estate, with over 10,000 square feet of indoor retail space.

Open seven days a week, between 9am and 5pm, you can find a mixture of household linens outlets, shoes outlets, handbag outlet stores, ladies clothing, nightwear, mobility aids and even tools.

These factory outlet shops are, in my opinion, best for the older generations, or if you're looking for quick and affordable, but good quality household linens. There is a shoe outlet shop containing some good quality, brand names.

There's plenty of on-site free parking. The address is Bridge Industrial Estate New Portreath Road, Cornwall, TR16 4QL

On this outlet Cornwall site you'll find:

Williamsons Factory Shop
New Portreath Road, Redruth, Cornwall, TR16 4QL

Williamsons is a household linens outlet, offering high quality linens, curtains, blinds and some floor coverings at outlet prices. Great for small household linens and gifts, or a cheery new tablecloth. You'll find a huge collection of towels and throws, cushion covers and bedspreads. I always stop off when passing and invariably come away clutching a bargain!

Triple M Fashions Outlet Store, Portreath
Triple M fashions are on the road to Portreath, between the Cornish Gold Centre and Portreath village. Keep an eye out for the green signage on the right hand side.

Triple MMM are open seven days a week, from 9am to 5pm.

They have a large range of clothing, blankets, linens, cosmetics, toiletries and miscellaneous items, most are at good prices.

This is not an outlet that has named/branded goods.

Factory Footwear, between Redruth and Portreath. Factory Footwear, Portreath
Factory Footwear is an independent Cornish family business. Previously located at another factory outlet, Factory Footwear have been selling men's and ladies' shoes and footwear since 1991.

With all this experience, they know what people are looking for - and consistently stock top quality brands, including Hotter and Padders. Factory Footwear have a great local reputation for very keen and competitive pricing, as well as providing helpful and professional advice to customers. You're individually attended to, if you want good old-fashioned service, or you can browse at your leisure.

Factory Footwear probably offer the most extensive collection of comfort footwear available anywhere in Cornwall.

South West Clothing Warehouse:

Southwest Clothing Warehouse
Similar to factory outlet stores, Southwest Clothing Warehouse has a huge selection of brand new and excellent quality second hand clothes and accessories. Ladies, men's and children. Handbags and shoes. All at rock bottom prices!
South West Clothing Warehouse / Fashion Direct Southwest
The South West Clothing Warehouse closed down at Summercourt - and moved to Bude in North Cornwall. It's also changed its name to Fashion Direct Southwest.

I've added the South West Clothing Warehouse, even though it's not technically a factory outlet store at all. It's fairly new and it does have a lot of good quality stock.

The South West Clothing Warehouse opened in Summercourt in 2010 and my description of it is that it's like a very large charity shop, with a lot of good quality clothes, mostly priced £3-5 for simple tops, trousers, jeans and dresses.

Mixed in with the second hand clothes though are stock clearance items, still brand new, complete with sales tags - and at very attractive prices.

I've been once, but certainly plan to return, because although the stock was well ordered and extensive, there was nothing there that day that fitted me or that I fancied. So, if you're passing it's worth popping in to see what they have, but as most of the stock isn't brand new, it's probably not your first call if you've somewhere extra special to get togged up for.

The sections within the South West Clothing Warehouse include shoes, belts, accessories, handbags, linens, ladies' clothes, men's clothing and children's clothing - each one separated from each other, making it easy to find the section you're interested in exploring.

You can find sizes from 6-30 in brand names including: Dorothy Perkins, M&S, Mambo, Miss Selfridge, New Look, O'Neil, Fat Face, Red Herring, Next and many more. New stock arrives daily.

There is plenty of free parking available on-site.

Address: Kings Hill Industrial Estate, EX23 8QN Bude, Cornwall.

Trago Mills in Devon and Cornwall
Trago Mills deserves its own page, so I'll be writing up a guide to Trago Mills shopping separately.

At present Trago Mills have three stores in Devon and Cornwall:

Trago Mills, Newton Abbot, Devon

Trago Mills, Liskeard, Cornwall

Trago Mills, Falmouth
While the first two are large factory outlet stores, the last is a mini-shop, but still worthy of a good look around when you're in Falmouth.

Trago Mills has been selling discounted goods in Devon and Cornwall for over 44 years. Over 3,000,000 customers per year pass through their doors. Trago Mills offer the greatest range of discount goods anywhere in the UK.

Trago Mills buy in vast quantities of end of range stock and specially selected stock, branded products, brand names and complete unknowns. The best advice with Trago Mills factory outlet store is to go in to see what they have, as it's a real discovery event. If you go in for something specific, they've probably not got exactly what you're looking for today.

Trago Mills is probably the largest and closest you'll get to a Cornwall shopping outlet.

I can't possibly list what they have because it's quite literally "everything", from DIY/household building items, to rugs, carpets, blinds, lamps, furniture for the whole house, clothes for every member of the family and clothes for sports and activities, fixing up your car, crafts, books, ornaments ... it's endless.

On top of this, Trago Mills can actually be an experience. If you're on holiday and love looking round markets, or factory outlet stores, then you'll love Trago Mills.

There are extensive free car parks at Newton Abbot and Liskeard, no car parking at Falmouth. Liskeard has fabulous water-side walks and picnic areas, as well as a cafe and a really well-priced restaurant. There are also small independent retailers alongside the car park, selling anything from newspapers to cuts of meat and pies.

The Newton Abbot Trago Mills had a large fire a few years back, and I haven't visited it since, but it used to have a huge children's play area.

One thing to be aware of though is Trago Mills' strange security policy. Once you've paid for your goods, you'll find there are security guards at the doors who will most likely want to check your receipt matches the goods you bought. It seems a bit odd at first, but it's just one of the Trago Mills quirks!

Outlet shopping in Cornwall just expanded, with the latest Original Factory Shop opening in Newquay, Cornwall.

You will find this retail outlet opposite Newquay station, above Great Western Beach.
