RESUMEN

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la motivación y la comprensión  en el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de Ingeniería, de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de Trujillo en el 2016. El estudio se procesó bajo el método cuantitativo. La investigación fue de tipo correlacional, se utilizó un diseño descriptivo-correlacional, la muestra que se seleccionó estuvo conformada por 80 estudiantes del IX y X ciclos de Ingeniería Industrial. La recolección de información se realizó aplicando un cuestionario de opinión para identificar la motivación y la comprensión del proceso de aprendizaje, reflejada a través de la evaluación y tomando en cuenta los materiales utilizados durante el desarrollo de los cursos, los mismos que fueron validados mediante la matriz respectiva. Para el análisis de la información se utilizaron las pruebas estadísticas r de Pearson, las que permitieron determinar la relación entre las variables. Los resultados del análisis estadístico mostraron un predominio del nivel de motivación media en un 51% y un incremento en el nivel en proceso y de logro de la comprensión del proceso de aprendizaje en 79%. También determinaron que existe una relación significativa entre ambas variables. El grado de relación según el coeficiente r de Pearson fue de 0.893, lo que indica que la correlación es muy alta, y significativa al nivel del 1%. El valor del nivel de la significancia permitió aceptar la hipótesis, es decir, que existe evidencia suficiente para sostener que existe una relación altamente significativa entre motivación y comprensión del proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de IX y X ciclos de Ingeniería Industrial en la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, Trujillo – 2016; así mismo ocurrió con las dimensiones consideradas en cada variable de estudio.

ABSTRACT

The present study of investigation had as objective to determine the relationship between the motivation and Understanding the learning process to university students of engineering during the development of the classes and reflected in the evaluation, in the Particular University Antenor Orrego de Trujillo in 2016. The study Was processed under the quantitative method. The research was of a correlational type, a descriptive-correlational design was used, the sample that was selected was conformed by 80 students of the IX and X Cycle of Industrial Engineering. The collection of information was done by applying an opinion questionnaire to identify the motivation and reading comprehension reflected through the evaluation and taking into account the materials used during the course development, which were validated through the respective matrix. Pearson's statistical tests were used for the analysis of the information, which allowed to determine the relationship between the variables. The results of the statistical analysis showed a predominance of the average level of motivation in 51% and an increase in the level in process and achievement of the understanding of the learning process in 79%. They also determined that there is a significant relationship between the two variables. The degree of relationship according to the Pearson r coefficient was 0.893 which indicates that the correlation is very high, and significant at the 1% level. The value of the level of significance allowed to accept the hypothesis, accepting the proposed hypothesis, that there is enough evidence to affirm that there is a highly significant relationship between motivation and understanding the learning process of the students of the IX and X cycle of Industrial Engineering in the Private University Antenor Orrego, Trujillo - 2016; Likewise occurred with the dimensions considered in each study variable.
