RESUMEN

El objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar la relación entre el funcionamiento familiar y la actitud frente al embarazo en adolescentes gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Jerusalén, distrito de La Esperanza. La muestra fue de 80 adolescentes embarazadas de 11 a 19 años de edad, a quienes se aplicó los instrumentos: 1) cuestionario para identificar el funcionamiento familiar y 2) la actitud frente al embarazo. Los instrumentos fueron validados con el criterio de juicio de experto, y cada ítem pasó el control de calidad con pruebas estadísticas de Pearson y alfa Cronbach. El tipo de estudio fue correlacional de corte transversal. El 63,8% de las gestantes adolescentes presentaron funcionamiento familiar bajo, el 22,5% funcionamiento familiar medio y el 13,8%, funcionamiento familiar alto; asimismo el 70% de las gestantes adolescentes presentaron una actitud desfavorable frente al embarazo y el 30% una actitud favorable. Existe relación significativa entre funcionamiento familiar y actitud frente al embarazo, al haberse aplicado la prueba estadístico Gamma,  obteniendo un valor positivo de  0,976 y  P< 0.05

ABSTRACT

The aim of this work was to determine the relationship between family functioning and the attitude towards pregnancy in pregnant adolescents treated at the Jerusalem Hospital, district of La Esperanza, province of  Trujillo, region La Libertad (Perú). The sample consisted of 80 pregnant adolescents from 11 to 19 years of age, to whom two instruments were applied: questionnaires to identify family functioning, and attitude towards pregnancy. The instruments were validated with the judgment of expert criteria; and each item passed the quality control with statistical tests of Pearson and alpha Cronbach. The type of study was cross-sectional correlation. The results indicated that 63.8% of pregnant women had low family functioning, 22.5% average; and 13.8% high; also as well as, 70% of pregnant adolescents had an attitude towards to unfavorable pregnancy and 30% a favorable attitude. There was  is a significant relationship between family functioning and attitude towards pregnancy, having applied the Gamma statistical test  with  a positive value of 0.976 and p-value < 0.000.
